Ronald "Ron" Hovsepian is a business executive with more than three decades of experience in leadership roles across the technology and corporate sectors. Since April 2024, Ronald Hovsepian has served as CEO of Skillsoft Corp., overseeing the company’s focus on corporate learning solutions. He has also worked as a chairman of the board at Ansys, Inc. since May 2019. The company specializes in engineering simulation software.
Mr. Hovsepian’s career includes leadership roles at several major organizations. From 2020 to 2024, he served as the CEO of Indigo Ag, where he guided the company’s transition from its startup phase to a commercially driven operation, emphasizing financial stability, carbon farming, and biological product innovations. Under his leadership, Indigo Ag expanded its capital base, increased revenues, and facilitated the large-scale sale of registry-approved agricultural carbon credits. Earlier, he held CEO roles at Intralinks, where he broadened cloud-based services, and at Novell, where he negotiated a $348 million agreement with Microsoft and oversaw the company’s multi-billion-dollar sale.
Mr. Hovsepian began his professional journey at IBM Corp., where he held various executive roles over 16 years, including global general manager for industry solutions.
